Dreams I remember
Long forgotten are realities
I chose those soft corners
Embracing me with warmth
Shielding me from the storms

Funny it is but perplexes the heart
Happy to relive the blurs
Shying away from the stark
A part of which has lived by me

There is a parallel world
I choose to sometimes find respite in
A calmer presence,
Prayers not spoken but answered
Wins celebrated
No defeats known
I commanding the result

A world of hope,
In abundance the optimism galore
A world of dreams
There is a parallel world
 I sometimes weave...
To let me make the reality as it ought to be

Thank God for the parallel worlds of respite ! What would we do without them !
